![]() Recently I started using Sonarworks Reference 4 for Headphones app. Instead I currently just have an FP-30 which drives Pianoteq and with that I use the Steingraeber E-272 virtual instrument. It's critical for higher impedance headphones to use a headphone amp (besides which, it sounds better) and so I use a Little Dot MK VIII SE balanced tube amp. I don't have Focals, but I currently have HD800. Will be testing out soon as I get it to see if I like.ĮDIT: Not sure if I can use both X-Fi and Sonarworks at the same time though, at least without using virtual audio cables or something like that. I hope to get it in time for Christmas as my Christmas present, but if it's shipped from Singapore, I doubt that will happen - would be lucky to get it before 2019.
